Known by many names and often not recognized as a single deity, Nature embodies all that her name encompasses, the good and the bad, the mundane and the mysterious. Her worshipers are from all walks of life and from all regions, as she seems to be worshiped everywhere in Endspace.
Nature accepts worship from individuals of all alignments, so long as they follow her dictates and give her due worship. With such a broad portfolio and worshipers, belief in Nature is broken up in a number of sects. The specifics of those sects vary by region and over time, the following are the strongest sects of Nature present in Valenpoint today:
UNICORN SECT
Alignment: Neutral Good
Added Portfolio: Fey, Magical Beasts
Added Domains: Fey, Good
The Unicorn Sect see Nature as a beneficent, kindly mother-figure who offers her bounty along with mild admonishment for those who abuse her good will. They tie worship of her closely with fey creatures and magical beasts, the highest of all being the unicorn. The Unicorn Sect is the most present in civilized regions and among elves.
The Unicorn Sect are in constant war with the Feral and Sleeper Sects. They see the Wild Hunt sect as a necessary counterpart, and are fast allies with the Treant Sect.
FERAL SECT
Alignment: Chaotic Evil

The feral sect is by far the wildest and most violent of them all, and for that reason it is a fairly small one. For the most part, the worshipers are goblinoids, orc-kin or lycanthropes who revel in violence, cannibalism and given themselves completely over to their monstrous natures.
The Feral Sect is isolated, being composed of remote tribes and packs, and thus has no allies. They tend to lash out against all others, even other worshipers of Nature.
WILD HUNT SECT
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Added Portfolio: Hunting, mystery
Added Domains: Mysticism, Bestial
An ancient, fading sect, the Wild Hunt Sect is composed of mystics, druids and hermits. Despite the intimidating name, this sect is not generally violent, and are instead focused on learning the relationships and boundaries between sentients, animals and Nature itself. It is said that this sect was created millennia ago in a union of worshipers of Nature and Qamar.
The Wild Hunt Sect is frequently allied with the Treant Sect, and in secret some of its members are allies of the Sleeper Sect. They have a lukewarm relationship with the Unicorn Sect, and a cool, resentful one with the Feral Sect, who are seen as violent upstarts.
TREANT SECT
Alignment: True Neutral

As old as the Wild Hunt sect and more well-known, the treant sect is one of herbalists, woodsmen, druids and sages. A gentle, peaceful presence who are only rarely provoked to violence, the treant sect seeks to preserve the woodlands, its wonders and denizens, with a special focus on plant life. The followers are commonly allies of dryads, treants and more.
The treant sect is closest with the Wild Hunt and Unicorn Sects, sharing their respect for mysteries and the fey. They do not see the Feral Sect as worshipers of Nature at all and combat the Sleeper Sect wherever it is found.
SLEEPER SECT
Alignment: Neutral Evil
Added Portfolio: Destiny, Destruction, Disease
Added Domains: Pestilence, Fate
Claimed by its members to be the oldest and only true sect of Nature worship, the Sleeper sect claims that Nature is asleep, that the other sects are merely Her dreams. When she awakens, they claim, all sentients who refuse to bow to the Great Mother will be swept away in an unstoppable tide of pests, plague and rampaging animal and plant creatures. They actively seek to bring about these end-times, as they believe their devotion will be rewarded when the natural order is reestablished.
The Sleeper Sect are in open war with the Unicorn and Treant Sects. They have insidious, manipulative deals with the Wild Hunt and Feral Pact, attempting to use them as pawns.
